Hello and welcome to ChaseThePuck.com.  My name is Chase and I am a girl who LOVES ice hockey!I started skating at age 6 after attending a birthday party at a skating rink.  I signed up for “learn to skate” the following week.  Soon, I learned to skate well and had to choose between figure skating or ice hockey.  I chose Ice Hockey and I have never looked back.

To me, Ice hockey is the most fun sport in the world.  I could skate and play it almost every day.  The players I admire the most are Angela James (the first woman inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame), Cammie Granato, Wayne Gretzky and Ilya Kovalchuk of the New Jersey Devils.

I  play on the Squirts team for the Red Bank Generals in New Jersey.  My favorite hockey team is the New Jersey Devils.  In April, I had the chance to skate on the ice during a NJ Devils game.  It was called Mites on Ice.  In addition, I’ve also competed twice with grown ups at a benefit hockey game held at Wells Fargo Arena, where the Philadelphia Flyers play (even though they are my least favorite team).
